Residential Life at Radiant Public School, Raipur. Where teachers live alongside their students.
A Modern Gurukul is not a phrase. It is a schedule. From yoga before first light to lights out at ten, residential life at Radiant Public School, Raipur is designed to build character at the pace at which character is actually built.
Most boarding schools house their students. Radiant houses its staff. On campus, in the Houses, at the same long tables as the children. This is the difference that makes the difference.
One campus. Four ranges. Four families.
Every student belongs to one of the four Houses, each presided over by a resident House Master or Mistress. The competitions run all year. But it is in the quieter hours that the House does its real work.

Safe, separate, furnished.
Dormitory blocks are well-furnished, with study rooms, common rooms, and above all, resident staff accommodation on every floor.
Bathrooms have hot water via solar heating. Security is continuous and discreet. Every child is checked on every night.
Shared tables, shared lives.
All meals are pure vegetarian and nutritionally balanced. milk at breakfast, yogurt and fruits through the day, fresh produce from local farms.
A mess committee of students, staff, and dieticians revises the menu regularly. And, unlike almost any other school, all staff dine with the students.
On-campus dispensary.
A full dispensary handles routine illness and regular check-ups, overseen by qualified medical officers.
Specialist consultations are arranged as needed, with parents fully informed before any further treatment or home visit.

The Prefects’ Council.
A School Captain and a Head Girl lead the Prefects’ Council; House Captains and Prefects carry the work at the House level. Leadership at Radiant is not honorary. prefects have real responsibility for the daily life of the school.
Yoga, meditation, and prayer form part of our daily routine. The aim is not merely to educate, but to raise a child who is upright, fearless, and self-reliant.
