Boarding Life
SAFE & SEPARATE HOSTELS FOR BOYS AND GIRLS.
There are separate & secured hostel buildings for Boys and Girls. The living space comprises the Dormitories which are the student’s personal space. It is their home away from home. The idea of the Drom is an area meant for the students to study, relax and socialize.
Each Dormitory block is well furnished and equipped with all modern facilities, with a Study room, television room and matrons and master’s houses to have the personal care of students. In each dorm bathrooms have supply of normal & hot water for which solar water heaters are available.
HOUSE SYSTEM
The house system encourages a sense of teamwork and public responsibilities that bring fellowship to pupils of different year groups, who might otherwise remain distant. The entire school is divided into four houses namely:
Each house is placed under a House Master/Mistress who is directly responsible for the discipline and general well-being of the members of the House. Regular Inter-House competitions are held throughout the year in various co-curricular activities which foster healthy rivalry and competitive spirit.
FOOD
A wholesome, well-balanced pure vegetarian and nutritious food is provided to meet the needs of a healthy growing child. The daily diet includes milk (at breakfast and evening snacks), curd, fresh vegetables, fruits etc. The school has, perhaps uniquely, its own mess committee which is composed of students, staff members and dieticians. The menu is changed from time to time to cater to variety and taste, as per the decision of mess committee.

HEALTH AND MEDICAL CARE
The school maintains a well-equipped dispensary for the treatment of minor illnesses of the students, besides the regular medical check-up at short intervals by well-qualified doctors.
Specialists may be consulted on the parent’s cost only when the students require any special treatment. If required, a special request will be sent to the parents/guardians to visit the child or to take the child for further treatment or home.
